In response to a request from the Middle Technical University of Iraq to hold educational workshops for its students, coordination was made with the relevant academic departments.

Dr. Omid Sohrabi, from the Department of Horticultural Engineering, conducted the first workshop for the university titled "The Effect of Medicinal Plant Extracts on Tissue Culture."

The workshop, which focused on the use of medicinal plant extracts in the agricultural industry, was held on October 26th for 32 students from the Middle Technical University. Some of the key topics covered in the workshop included:

1. An overview of the global trend towards medicinal plants and their uses, as well as tissue culture techniques.
2. The advantages of medicinal plants and their extracts over plant hormones.
3. Methods of extraction and preparation of plant extracts.
4. How to apply plant extracts.
5. Presentation of the results of the work through photos and graphs.

The International Affairs Office of the university expresses its gratitude to Dr. Sohrabi for his contributions to the advancement of scientific diplomacy.
